Eco Chic Ceremony

Just married again!

Many couples want to celebrate and reaffirm their love and commitment for one another by renewing their marriage vows by saying "I do" again. Marriage is not meant to be the final step in a couple's relationship—it is really just the beginning of a grand adventure, that hopefully, will be long and fruitful for each couple.

Welcome to Darlene and Ryan story...
"They met in Spanish class in 2007 when they were 16 years old and immediately gravitated towards each other. They became fast friends, bonding over trying to pass their Spanish tests and making jokes in between lessons. They had their first date at a local Tropical Smoothie early that summer, and the rest is history.

They both attended Virginia Tech after graduating high school, where they fell in love with Blacksburg, VA and fell in love with each other all over again. After graduating from Virginia Tech, they moved back to Hampton Roads. In November of 2013, Ryan proposed in London, which became Darlene's favorite place in the world after studying abroad during her undergrad.

Soon after, they bought their first home in Virginia Beach, and started planning their wedding. They got married on May 23, 2015 at Jennette's Pier in the Outer Banks. The Outer Banks has always been one of their favorite places to go together, and was the place they said they love each other. It was a beautiful day surrounded by the people they cherish most.

Eleven years together and they are still as much in love as they were when they met when they were 16.
We met Darlene and Ryan at one of the networking events and we were happy to create their "Renewing Vows Ceremony" in Eco chic style.
Ryan and Darlene read their vows, wrote letters to each other and nailed everything in a box to open in ten years in 2028 What a great way to celebrate the love... again!

Darlene's Note:
"I'm one of those lucky few that found their soulmate early in life. We've experienced the drama of high school, moving 5 hours away to pursue our degrees at Virginia Tech for 4 years, graduating from college, starting our careers, buying a house, parenting fur-children, traveling the world and so much more in between. Ryan is my best friend, my life partner, and the love of my life. We've experienced some of life's best moments together the last 11 years and I am so looking forward to seeing what the future holds for us."

Ryan's Note:
"Darlene has been in my life nearly half as long as I've been alive and I can't picture a single day without her. I love her energy, her smile, and her commitment to her friends, family, and me. She does everything wholeheartedly and it inspires me to be a better person every day. I love this woman and I'm thankful we get to spend this life together".
